October 20
We spent most of today learning about other groups' experiences during their respective prefectural visits.  Our group delivered our views of Odawara-shi through song, poetry, and powerpoint.
On this day, I felt especially grateful to have been a part of my team.  The entire experience served as a powerful reminder that individual differences don't necessarily detract from common goals.
A common quest for scholarship brought each of us to Japan, and having reached far beyond the four walls of a classroom, I'm sure we found that our newly broadened horizons could not be easily contained.
I learned so much.
