October 18
Today was our last day in Odawara-shi.  We packed our belongings and boarded a chartered bus that would take us back to Tokyo.  A part us wanted to stay in Odawara-shi, and still another part knew that our journey was almost at its end, and returning to Tokyo meant that we were more on our way back home to the United States.  Most of the day was spent traveling, then we were given the evening off.

A small group of us braved the Tokyo Subway System once again and found some of the more off-beat shopping areas for buying plastic food, used kimonos, and other must-have items.
We also responded to the call for studying the cultures of the East and West through the vision of Walt Disney.
