Our first full day in Tokyo, Japan was filled with guided tours of the city. Our large group of 200 was subdivided into smaller groups of 20. Each of these smaller groups would later visit a different prefectural city. My group was to visit Odawara-shi in Kanagawa Prefecture. We had no idea what awaited us there, and were awed by the vision that was Tokyo. |

Our base camp was the Century Hyatt in Tokyo. This was an impressively towering structure, and it quickly became the beacon that called us home from being utterly and completely lost in downtown Tokyo. |
